Chris Staples has worked as a computer consultant for over 10 years before forming his own company, Advanced Network Consulting in 2003. He earned his AA Degree in Computer Science at Cerritos College, as well as attaining many Microsoft Certifications over the years. Hands on training and job experience have given Chris the skills to be able to communicate with clients and assess their network needs.

Chris resides in La Mirada with his wife and two young daughters. They love the neighborhood and feel that La Mirada is a great place to raise their family. He is active in the community and in the Chamber, serving on the Golf Committee, Business and Education Committee, Government Affairs Committee and Expo Committee. He is also a board member of the B.E.S.T. Foundation and the
La Habra Chamber. When he’s not working on computers, Chris also loves to dabble in woodworking and tackling home improvement projects.

Bill was raised in La Mirada from birth with his three brothers and sister. He attended Gardenhill Elementary, McNally Jr. High and La Mirada High School. He now resides in Buena Park with his wife of 27 years, Jan, and their youngest daughter, Amy. His oldest daughter, Carrie, is married with two wonderful children.

Bill is the owner of California Ink, Printing & Graphics, located at 14730 Firestone Blvd in La Mirada, which was established in 1991.

He is a current member of both the Buena Park and the La Mirada Chambers of Commerce. He served several years on the Board of Directors of the Buena Park Chamber and countless committees in both Chambers.

Bill believes that success does not only come from hard work and quality service, but must include community involvement as well. California Ink has worked closely with La Mirada High School in mentoring programs.

Bill and his wife enjoy trips in their motor home and days in their greenhouse growing flowers and vegetables. He is an avid outdoorsman—golfing, fishing, camping and kayaking. On a windy day you might find him flying one of his many stunt kites at the beach. One of his favorite hobbies is making toys for his three grandchildren.

With his Chamber experience he feels that he can contribute his thoughts and ideas and play a positive role in the success of the Chamber and what it offers the business community.

R.K. Knight has been in business since 1949, spanning three generations. R.K. Knight Plumbing is a full service plumbing company that has been serving La Mirada and surrounding cities since 1956. He has built a successful business by operating by the motto of “honesty builds a satisfied customer referral system.” Ronnie is married and has 3 boys. He has been a La Mirada resident since 1978. Ronnie has been a proud La Mirada Chamber member since 1984 and currently is President of the Kiwanis Club of La Mirada. Ronnie likes to spend his free time riding quads.

Richard E. Bee has been involved in College Advancement, through alumni relations, fundraising, university events, and public relations for over 25 years. His experience also includes work in the field of non-profit development at Walk Thru the Bible in Atlanta, Georgia. Bee is Director of Alumni and University Development at Biola University, in La Mirada, California where he is responsible for alumni, foundations, capital campaign, annual fund, corporate relations, estate planning and graduate development.

His work in Alumni and Public Relations has brought recognition through CASE Awards for Alumni Publications, Alumni Relations Improvement, Total University Publications, and also includes the Admissions Marketing Report Advertising Award for the Alumni Association.

In 1996, Bee was Track Chair for the Christian Stewardship Association Annual fund committee and since that time has taught numerous workshops on alumni relations, fundraising, and the coordination of volunteers in advancement programs for CSA and the Christian Management Association.

Bee has completed BS and MACE degrees in the field of Christian Education. He has also recently completed a Ph.D. in Education Administration at Talbot School of Theology. Bee resides in Yorba Linda, California, with his wife Julie, and daughters Andrea and Breanna.

Jesse “Jack” Miranda III has been married to his wife Eileen for twenty-seven years. He has 7 children and one grandbaby. He has been a resident of La Mirada for the last 14 years. He has been the Pastor of the Living Faith Assembly of God for the last 5 years but he was also a Peace Officer/Youth Counselor, in the California Youth Authority for 17 years.

He was a student at Azusa Pacific University (C.P. Haggard School of Theology), Master’s Degree Program: Pastoral Studies. He was an instructor at Latin American Bible Institute in La Puente, CA in 1999; a foster parent with Children’s Bureau since 1998; and a member of the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce since 2001. His hobbies include: Sports (spectator), books and writing. His passion is telling the story of Jesus of Nazareth.
